What is reformer pilates
Reformer Pilates is often associated with a more clinical approach as widely recommended by physiotherapists and other rehabilitation professionals
Reformer Pilates is taught on a 1-2-1 basis, where I can pay close attention to my client's technique, body position and alignment correcting as necessary.
The reformer allows participants to target very specific areas of the body that just wouldn't be possible on a mat.
A moving carraige, variety of resistance springs, a foot bar, pulleys & ropes, hand & foot straps all assist in various moves and positions to get the required outcome.
Targeting key areas of weakness and restriction within my clients, focusing on the goal of eliminating these problems, ultimately this creates a functionally integrated body that is capable of withstanding the degenerative stresses and strains of modern life.

Principles
The fundamentals of Pilates stay the same whether its Basic Mat Pilates or the Pilates Reformer each exercise will focus on these 6 principles
